I bought the Angie album shortly after it came out. I played it hundreds if not thousands of times on a fairly good vinyl setup over the years.

I was really excited to see that Vocalion reissued this album, and on SACD!

I don't have my albums with me for a direct comparison but this SACD is superb. I haven't looked into whether it was remastered...the audio quality is outstanding. The dynamic range is of course much greater than an LP and although I'm listening on better equipment now than in 1980 there seems to be a lot of air and depth here.

This is a great album with a great lineup of top session-men which I thought was lost in time. Not only did Vocalion bring it back in spades, but in SACD format as a double album.

I can't thank Vocalion enough for the superb job and for bringing back albums like this. The prices are not more than standard CDs off the shelf at major record shops yet the quality and service are well above. My Oppo 205 sends its thanks!

I hope Vocalion brings back more classic albums, especially jazz and 1970s rock and roll.
