This Paul Mauriat SACD features orchestral easy listening; an excellent example of the genre. According to the SACD notes the two albums comprise tracks from various Paul Mauriat stereo albums, remixed to the two quadrophonic albums originally released in the 1970s.

The result is most impressive quad, with various immersive instrument layouts throughout. The music selections are also varied, from the ear worm inducing 'Pardonne-Moi', the rhythmatic 'Pomme, Pomme, Pomme', atmospheric acoustics (particularly in the quad mix) in the jazzy 'Reviens Je T'aime', a haunting 'Et Mourir de Palisir', and amazing quad effects on 'Il y a du Soleil'.

The stereo (original) versions of the two albums also sound great. Preferred the 'Che Sara' stereo mix (more dynamic range), otherwise all the tracks in multichannel provided (literally) extra dimension to listening enjoyment. Thoroughly recommended.
